Every one of the processes used by LABORATORIOS SANOR complies with current Food Safety Legislation in each of the countries where our products are sold, and employs the latest Quality Control Systems, as well as implementing a modern traceability system for all products, developed specifically for our company by ITCL (the Castilla y León Technology Institute).
In addition to these compulsory safety measures, all our processes are certified according to ISO 9001-2000, which has assessed and approved the quality management system applied to our processing, thus ensuring we maintain the level of trust our clients have placed in us.
We have also obviously sought and been given Authorisation as a Medicinal Plant Laboratory (Num. 71 P.M.), as well as being on the Industrial Register for Packaging of Infusions (Num. 2500311/ LE.).
All of this enables us to carry out a thorough control over all our processes. From gathering and picking to the point of sale. Our idea of Guarantee and Quality reflects our commitment to our consumers, offering them our best infusions and herbal teas so they can continue to enjoy the good health and well-being which our products provide every day.
MABA-THERM ® (*) System
Medicinal herbs used in infusions, as with all types of vegetation, are at certain risk of microbiological contamination, which is inevitable given their storage and transport. This risk cannot be fully removed using even the most up-to-date conventional hygiene procedures in the stages prior to processing. For this reason, LABORATORIOS SANOR has chosen the multinational Plantafarm S.A. (Grupo Martin Bauer, GMBH) as the sole supplier for all its raw materials, as it is the only company in the world equipped with the MABATHERM (Sterilisation procedure developed and patented by Plantafarm SA. -Martin Bauer Group GMBH-) plant sterilisation system, developed and patented by the company and applied to all the products used by LABORATORIOS SANOR.
This is a ground-breaking system which allows any risk of bacterial or microbiological contamination in treated herbs to be totally eliminated, whilst at the same time avoiding any loss in taste, aroma and properties of the herbs.

History
The history of LABORATORIOS SANOR dates back to 1929 when the company was set up under the name of Infusiones SUSARÓN, a family business founded by D. Froilán Rascón Reyero. Taking advantage of the natural resources to be found in the mountains of Leon, he personally selected the various medicinal herbs which grew around the Susarón crag located in Puebla de Lillo, León (to which it owes its name). The products were sold at the “FEVE” narrow gauge railway station in the town of Boñar to travellers aboard the Trans-Cantabrian line when trains made their daily stop at the town.
